Mastering the Art of Drawing Birth Month Florals May to August

If you’ve been wanting to build your confidence by adding florals to your designs, this is the class for you! Another artist shared with me that to improve my floral watercolor paintings, learning to draw was the first step. Mind blown! Follow along and I’ll guide you step by step to drawing florals in an easy-to-follow way. Relax and enjoy! You can use the techniques for greeting cards, engraving, stationery, ornaments, wall art/home decor, journaling, surface pattern design, and anything else you can imagine.

This is a series of classes with instruction for drawing flowers for every month of the year! 

March: Daffodil

April: Daisy

May: Hawthorn and Lily of the Valley

June: Rose and Honeysuckle

July: Larkspur and Water Lily

August: Gladiolus and Poppy

*Note: September through February classes were released in 2024.

 Materials Needed:

• Drawing pencil
• Fine liner pens (.1 and .5mm tips)
• Eraser
• Mixed media paper or pro layout marker paper
• Watercolor paper (hot or cold press) for finished art work
