Intro:

If you’ve been wanting to add a level of sophistication to the greeting cards you make, or you’ve never tried to make one but want to learn, this class will show you step by step. Making cards by hand to sell or gift infuses your personality into what you’ve made and is also very gratifying when you know how your creation has touched another person’s heart. By the end of this class, you will know how to make a feminine and masculine layered birthday card that’s perfect for celebrating the recipient!

Materials Needed:

• Brush pens
• Gel pens
• Micron or fine liner pens
• Nib and ink of choice
• Heavyweight cardstock - 80-110 lb
• Scrapbook, vellum, or patterned paper
• Scoring tool and board
• Paper trimmer
• Permanent adhesive - tape runner, glue stick or liquid glue
• Ephemera, embellishments such as ribbon, rhinestones or pearls
• Coordinating envelope
• Paper corner punch

Angenise is a mama artist with a passion for uplifting others. Her journey as a calligrapher began when she learned Italic hand in elementary school. After a long hiatus, she returned to the creative world in 2004. She began her business in 2018 with the purpose of making heartfelt Christian-based sympathy cards. She loves spreading joy, being creative, and when she’s not doing calligraphy you’ll most likely find her somewhere doing something creative.
